Dr. Gina Zummo-Payne, D.C., C.A.C.C.P.
Originally from the Alief/ Sugar Land area, Dr. Zummo-Payne headed to Texas A&M University where she graduated with Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition. She began her Chiropractic studies and graduated with highest academic recognition with induction into Omega Psi Honor Society, and graduation honors of Magna Cum Laude from Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, TX. It was here that she met her future husband, Scott. She returned to Houston and is the owner of Parkway Family Chiropractic Clinic. Dr. Gina has been awarded the H-Texas Houston Top Chiropractor Award each consecutive year since opening Parkway Family Chiropractic.
Dr. Gina is been practicing for over ten years at Parkway Family Chiropractic and is certified to perform Acupuncture and has completed post-graduate education courses regarding Prenatal and Pediatric Care,and is one of the only chiropractors in Sugar Land certified by the Academy Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP), Nutritional Disorders and Supplementation. Her areas of expertise include Pediatrics, Expecting Mothers, Pediatric Care, Post-Natal Care, and Family Wellness Care. Dr. Gina is also is Board Certified to practice Chiropractic Medicine by the National Board of Chiropractic and the Texas State Board of Chiropractic. She is also a Member of Texas Chiropractic Association and the American Chiropractic Association
Dr. Gina is a mother of two little ones and outside of the office,she enjoys spending time with her family, Scrap booking,embroidering, helping the PTO and occasionally she cooks up a big traditional Italian meal.
Dr. Scott Payne, D.C.
Dr. Scott Payne, a Texas Native and co-owner of Parkway Family Chiropractic ,Ten plus years in practice, He Graduated from Texas Chiropractic College with a Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine in 2004. While pursuing his education, he also received a Bachelors of Science in Human Biology. During the course of his academic tenure, Dr. Payne achieved the highest academic recognition possible with induction into Omega Psi Honor Society, and graduation honors of Class Salutatorian, Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Payne is licensed by the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. He is a member of the Texas Chiropractic Association and American Chiropractic Association. Dr. Payne started Parkway Family Chiropractic with his wife and has been awarded Houston’s Top Chiropractor Award each year in practice.
Dr. Payne is committed to the fact that patient’s deserve to be healthy. His goal is to help his patient’s understand that their choices and behaviors ultimately determine their level of health. Dr. Payne has appeared as a wellness expert on national television shows as well as local Houston news and radio for his work to help patients heal without the use of drugs and surgery. Dr. Payne also enjoys teaching wellness seminars at many Houston based companies.
Currently Dr. Payne has a post doctorial training in clinical Pain Management, Clinical Acupuncture, Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression and Nutrition Practices. Dr. Payne specializes in Alternatives Treatments to Spine Surgery with conditions related to: Disc Pain, Nerve Pain, Sports Injuries and degenerative conditions of the spine.
When not working Dr. Payne enjoys time playing golf, soccer, softball and playing with his favorite little man, his son Jace and his little girl Lexi.
Dr. Kimberlee Barnhart, D.C.
Dr. Barnhart calls Flower Mound, Texas home. For her undergraduate studies, she attended Baylor University where she received her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. Afterwards, she moved to the Houston area in order to pursue her chiropractic education. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Texas Chiropractic College and is Board certified. She is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and is currently pursuing extensive training to earn her CACCP specialization. She is Webster Certified to care for both pregnant women and children.
Dr. Barnhart has always had a passion for pediatrics and a love for family practice. She believes that caring for the person as a whole and preventing disease, are essential elements for a happy, healthy life.
In her spare time, she enjoys rooting for the Baylor Bears, traveling abroad, attending spin classes, reading, and crafting. She has one fur-baby! (An adorable Yorkie pup named Reese)
